Metro Vancouver Discovery Tour

A day trip from Vancouver to see landscapes and maybe even wildlife outside the city walls.

Off the beaten path! This is a guided day trip from Vancouver to scenic photo locations, breathtaking landscapes and with potential wildlife sighting locations in Metro Vancouver. Not many visitors know about those places. And let me tell you, not many local residents know about them either. But this is NOT a Vancouver city sightseeing tour! All locations are outside the city of Vancouver but within the Metro Vancouver region. This tour is available year round and the route and destinations will be modified depending on weather and road conditions.

We’ll be starting the day in the morning at 9 am at the Coquitlam Skytrain station (link to map) in Coquitlam. You can book a convenient, earlier pickup from your accommodation within the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam-Port Moody-Port Coquitlam) for an additional pick-up fee. 

You can pick and choose between my personal Midsize Pickup Truck which is a off-road capable Nissan Frontier Pro4X. Or you book a Minivan for more seats and more roomy interior. 

As long-term resident and passionate nature photographer, I explored Metro Vancouver thoroughly. I will be your driver and local guide to show you the beauty of our lakes, rain forests, mountains and rivers. We will be visiting beautiful locations and you will have the opportunity to take many pictures during the day. I’ll be taking pictures with a professional DSLR camera during our tour and you’ll be getting access to an online album as a long lasting memory for years to come. 

This tour is suitable for families, seniors or handicapped guests, as I drive and park close to the scenic locations. We’ll find clean washrooms at many of the locations. And we’re having pit stops, whenever you desire one. The price includes up to 3 guests when choosing the Pickup Truck or even up to 5 guests when booking the Minivan. You can either bring your own lunch bag, or we stop at any restaurant you like. Food is not included, but non alcoholic beverages (Pops and water) and snacks are on board and included.

• • Cancellation up to 7 days before the Experience start time for a full refund, or within 24 hours of booking if the booking is made more than 48 hours before the start time.  A booking can be rescheduled, if your new preferred date is still available in the booking calendar. Please send me an email, if you need to reschedule a booking. I need to confirm and reset the date manually in the system.
